“No person was ever honored for what he received. He was honored for what he gave.” - Calvin Coolidge
Does it frustrate you to rush through the shopping malls to buy Christmas gifts and end up exhausted and undecided which one to better choose with?
This is especially true when you’re already in a hurry because Christmas is coming near and you don’t even have a gift for your kid’s Christmas party, for their Christmas presents, and for your godchildren or grandchildren.
You might have decided this a long time ago but this is not how it works at times when your Christmas bonus or 13th-month pay arrived in the middle of the month of December.
You might have considered shopping online but even there, you can’t decide which is better.
Now, you’re standing at the aisle of your favorite department store surrounded by numerous options, dizzy with people rushing here and there, feeling giddy with the smell of gift wrappers and brand new items… but still confused.
Will you consider the one that amazes kids and have them drool with excitement or would you rather give them something that is long-lasting, safe, and educational?
If you answer “Yes” to this question you are at the right blog today.
In fact, when you finish reading this blog post you’ll be able to:
- Choose which toy is safe.
- Choose which one is educational and helpful in their improvement.
- Choose even in the midst of the Christmas rush.
- Choose from the best selling products I’ve gathered here.
There are three kinds of products that I most recommend and I will explain why later in this blog post:- Toys made-up of wood.

#1. Toys Made-up of Wood
In the presence of harmful chemicals found on plastic toys, wooden toys can be a go-to. It has many advantages over its plastic counterpart making this the best choice to consider in choosing gifts for kids.
Come to think about this...
The "banned chemicals found in the toys include boron, cadmium, and phthalates, which can cause both short-term health issues such as diarrhea and vomiting and serious longer-term medical problems like cancer and infertility." (Source)"We are cautious about recommending specific toys to families. This is because play interests vary greatly across cultures, children and families. However, one trend that is emerging from our studies can serve as a guide to families as they choose toys: Basic is better. The highest-scoring toys so far have been quite simple: hardwood blocks, a set of wooden vehicles and road signs, and classic wooden construction toys. These toys are relatively open-ended, so children can use them in multiple ways. Also, they have all been around for a long time. There may be a reason these toys have been enjoyed by children over the generations! Simple, classic toys would be our recommendation for families." -(Source)

#3. Children's Book
Studies have shown that being read to as a child and having books in the home are the two most important indicators of future academic success.
The study Children’s Access to Print Materials and Education-Related Outcomes (2010) was commissioned by Reading Is Fundamental, the largest children’s literacy nonprofit in the United States, and the findings show that providing children access to print materials accomplishes the following:- Improves reading performance. Among the studies reviewed, kindergarten students showed the biggest increase.
- Is instrumental in helping children learn the basics of reading, such as letter and word identification, phonemic awareness, and completion of sentences.
- Prompts them to read more frequently and for greater amounts of time.
- Improves their attitudes toward reading and learning. - (Source)
So, there's no reason not to give Children's Books.
